Manos holds a Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering, Masters degree in Naval Architecture – University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and a Masters degree in Shipping Trade and Finance – City University. He has experience as an assistant Superintendent, gaining seagoing experience and attending at new-building projects and dry-dock repairs in China and Korea.

Manos joined the firm in 2008 and has been mainly dealing with H&M damages, P&I claims, Warranty Surveys, Yacht and Condition Surveys. He is a Certified Operator qualified for UT Testing of hatch covers and has successfully attended and completed various marine training programs. He is a Chartered Marine Technologist, Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology – London and the Hellenic Technical Consultants Association. He is also a Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.

Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering – University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK (2005), Master of Science in Naval Architecture  – University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK (2006), MSc in Shipping Trading & Finance – City University, Cass Business School, London, UK (2007). From 2003 to 2007 – Training during summer vacations at various Piraeus ship repair workshops and attending surveys with Mentor Marine surveyors.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 2007 – 2009, working as an assistant superintendent at Primera Maritime (Hellas), gaining sea-going experience and attending at new-building projects, dry dock repairs and sea trials in China (Guangzhou & Nantong) and Korea (Ulsan).   
• 2008 – to date, joined the surveying staff of Mentor Marine Consultants.
