Petros, Liverpool John Moores Üniversitesi Gemi Makineleri Mühendisliği lisans diplomasına, Atina Amerikan Üniversitesi Makine Mühendisliği lisans diplomasına ve aynı üniversiteden Gemi Makineleri Mühendisliği ve Yönetimi yüksek lisans diplomasına sahiptir. Eğitimi sırasında Yunanistan Menşeili iki Mekanik Atölyesinde Yardımcı Servis Mühendisi olarak yatlar ve açık deniz gemilerinde bakım ve tamir işlerinde göre almıştır. Stajyer olarak denizcilik tecrübesi olup, Baş Mühendis Yardımcılığı, Baş Mühendislik ve DPA Yardımcısı olarak göre almıştır. Kariyerinde çeşitli gemi tamiri projelerinde ve seyir tecrübelerinde bulunmuştur.

Petros şirketimize 2012 yılında dahil olarak çoğunlukla Tekne ve Makine hasarları, Garanti Sörveyleri, Kondisyon Sörveyleri ve P&I Sörveylerinde göre almaktadır. Lloyd’s Register ISM ve DPA eğitimlerine başarı ile katılıp tamamlamış ve ambar kapaklarının ultrasonik sızdırmazlık (UT) testi operasyon sertifikası sahibidir. Ek olarak, Birleşik Krallık Makine Mühendisleri Enstitüsü (IMechE) üyeliği bulunmaktadır.

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical & Marine Engineering – University of Liverpool John Moores, UK (2006), Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering – American University of Athens,  Greece (2008), MSc in Marine Engineering & Management – University of Greenwich, UK (2011). From 2001 to 2006 – Training during summer vacations at various Piraeus ship repair workshops and participating in enhance maintenance associated works on various types of vessels (Bulkers, Tankers, Yachts, etc.)

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 2006 – Sailed for 4 months as Cadet Engineer on board of MV “SEA DIAMOND”, operated by Louis Hellenic Cruise Lines.
• 2007 – 2008, working as an Assistant Technical Superintendent at Louis Hellenic Cruise Lines, attending at dry dock repairs and sea trials in Greece (Piraeus & Chalkis).
• 2009 – 2010, working as Technical Superintendent at Derna Carriers S.A., accountable to the Fleet Technical Manager with respect to close monitoring and follow up of the fleet in terms of performances topics, along with ISM implementation and Class mandatory obligations strict and timely compliance.
• 2010 – 2011, working as Technical Superintendent at Tomazos Shipping Co Ltd., accountable to Fleet Technical Manager for a fleet of bulk carrier vessels in terms of ISM implementation, Class follow up and the Customers’ satisfaction issue as regards the vessels’ performances, Speed & Consumptions related ones.
• 2012 – to date, joined the surveying staff of Mentor Marine Consultants.
